Study on Brazilian agribusiness wastewaters: composition, physical‑chemical characterization, volumetric production and resource recovery

Brazil is a significant producer of agricultural and agro-industrial waste, which can be used to recover valuable resources, such as struvite, hydroxyapatite, methane gas, hydrogen carboxylic acids, mitigate the environmental impacts sector, add economic value organic promote sustainability natural resources. Thus, this work's objective was compile analyze data on composition, physical-chemical characterization, volumetric production six wastewaters (AWWs) from activities paramount importance in Brazilian agribusiness report studies resource recovery those liquid wastes. The literature review carried out by analyzing scientific works obtained searching for keywords different databases. It concluded that swine (SWs), slaughterhouse (SHWs), dairy (DWs) are most promising struvite recovery. DWs also stand hydroxyapatite. SWs brewery (BWs) commonly prospecting algae or bacterial biomass their derivative products. All AWWs analyzed considered biogas, hydrogen, while soluble more acid production.
